Graduating International Students Information Seminars
York International would like to welcome all Graduating International Students to come to the Fall 2006 Graduating International Students Information Seminars.
These will be broken down into 2 Seminars as follows.
Session 1:
Convocation Information & Re-entry Considerations
"Convocation Information" A guest speaker from the Office of Ceremonials, Special Events and Community Relations will cover what the student needs to know prior to Convocation, the do's and the don'ts and what actually happens on the Ceremonial Date.
"Re-entry Considerations” Are you thinking about returning home after you've completed your studies? This session will cover what the student needs to know in order to make that "going back home" transition smooth.

Session 2:
Immigration Regulations & Looking for Jobs after Graduation
"Immigration Regulations” The most commonly asked question, "I've completed my degree requirements, now what do I need to know in order to apply for the Post-Graduate Work Permit?" will be addressed in this particular session.
"Looking for Jobs after Graduation” A guest speaker from the Career Centre will present to the student, tips and job search strategies, in finding that first job after graduation
